1996 Dutchmen Classic - HVAC

Our 1996 Classic has separate A/C and Heat. The A/C is electric, with it's own thermostat. The heat is gas with a separate thermostat. We have not been able to get the heat to run. Had the unit out and checked out by a dealer, it was okay. Put it back in, nothing. Had an "RV tech" come out and check the unit in the rv. He tested the unit, the thermostat and the wiring and scratched his head, said to take it to a dealer and charged me $150.00.

Also, we have a switch on the ceiling about a foot from the A/C that, if flipped off will shut down the A/C completely.

Anyone else ever have this set up and know anything about it. I've hunted for manuals, elec. diagrams, etc. and haven't been able to come up with anything.

We are pretty much full timers in N.D. Managed okay with electric heaters and a good skirting kit but would really like to get the heater working in case of electric failure.

I have a 95 Classic with the same setup. I also have a switch the will shut off my AC. Will your furnace blower come on? Mine will but no heat, I think I need to purge the gas line.
