Tri-glide weight

How heavy is the lower jaw? Tomorrow I will be replacing it. My plan is to use a jack on the tailgate it the truck.

I can't imagine it being more than a hundred pounds or so based on the size of it. My father in law did his with a floor jack on some pallets. I would suggest the bed of the truck instead of the tailgate - - those cables are strong, but...

To answer my own question. Heavy! But it done except for torquing down the pin. I have the air bag filled to make sure it holds. This is the replacement they sent me. I'm gonna have to raise my hitch to accommodate the skinnier jaw.

No. I was more or less wanting to know if I could just lift it off. With a second pair of hands it would have been easy to get. The new one I just lifted it on
