spare tire Voltage 3305

What is the proper way to lower the spare tire that is mounted
underneath the garage on a 2015 Voltage 3305?
Is there a tool provided with the 5th wheel for this?
This is my first 5th wheel still learning the ropes.
Thanks, Mike

You have (or should have) a lug fitting just under the rear steps to the garage. You turn it just the way you would to lower the spare on a pickup truck.

And the tool should've been included somewhere with your rig. Mine was in the small compartment just aft of the rear side door, but I don't use it. Instead I use a 19mm socket, a couple of long 3/8 drive extensions, and a ⅜ drive adapter for my cordless drill. Saves a lot of time & effort.

Also it is easier to work with steps in stowed position.
