$4,000 worth of damage with this blowout. That's not counting the other blowout I had before I switched to 17.5 tires.

Akuret tire damage

If you go to my gallery you will see what Akuret tires do. These are low mileage tires that have never been overloaded and the pressures consistently kept at 80psi.

I am debating putting some Taskmaster Provider ST Radial F835 Trailer
ST235/85R16 129L G RBL tires on.
They have a weight rating of 4080lbs @110psi and a speed rating of up to 75mph 14ply tires
Anybody have any input on this?
The Akuret pieces of junk are only rated up to 62mph

I've had no problems with them. We've put over 10k on them the last two years. They have been rotated to include the spare. So far thumbs up from me. There is another that put the same on, maybe he will chime in too.

I agree with cowboy.. go with the continental J rated. I wish i had after my akurets blew up like yours did. Maxxis did the same on the opposite side.. now i have damage on both sides to be repaired.. The Continentals are great, the 5er handles totally different and I have a piece of mind.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the input. I just know that these $63.00 Akuret tires on this $100K trailer have to go
