Just as confirmation, my 3750FL did have a factory heat pump installed. I just sold the unit and demonstrated the system to the new owner this past weekend.

This whole thread has me wondering if I do have an AC with a heat pump???
I guess the only way to know for sure is to get on the roof and check the AC model #...
I have to believe that that person who told you that you have to separate the zones when running COOL was incorrect. Mine are always set at the same temperature while on COOL and the Power Managment System does it's job by alternating which units run and when based on temperature readings. There also may and "anticipator" built into the individual thermostats like there is inside of a residential thermostat. The anticipator does exactly what it's name implies - anticipates temperature change when calling for heating or cooling so as to avoid an actual temperature change thereby maintaining steady temperature.
