Atwood Mobile Products 8535-III DCLP control

I have a 1998 Dutchmen Classic 36'. It is time to take a look at the heat. I bought the tt back in the summer and haven't gotten to the heat. I replaced the air unit on the roof and replaced the thermostat. What controls the furnace? I assumed the same thermostat would control it but nothing happens when I switch to heat.

I found a video that helped me understand. I found a way to bypass the thermostat to troubleshoot

It is a little chilly down here currently.
(I'm just east of you on HWY6)

Weatherman predicts a couple of nights below freezing, this coming week.
I'm more concerned about all my plants out on the porch though.
Inside the tinyhouse, I'll just crank up the little infrared heater that easily keeps up with the ~160sf.

Gotta admit the vinyl floor is a shock to bare feet in the middle of the night. I've noticed that fluffy thick bathroom floor mat feels like heaven at 2AM. I might come up with a wall to wall similar "run" for cold winter nights.

Good luck with your troubleshooting. Will be interesting to hear what you find.

You must be chasing Reds and trout?

Our youngest got a football scholarship at Texas A&M Kingsville. And I work at Hobby.
So I have travelled around the world a couple of times ALL on Highway 35.

Love that area. It just suits my culture, I suspect.
