A/C Damage from tree limb - Manual & Parts

I recently purchased this 2000 35SRV toy hauler. I have not owned a Dutchman before so have some questions about A/C repair.

First, is is safe and ok to walk on the roof? I don't see a ladder as some campers have to the roof.

I am a certified A/C tech and know that the only problem is the exterior case and the condenser fan and housing. I want to purchase parts and fix this. The compressor and system is not puctured and runs fine but of course without the condenser the pressure would go up real fast. I have not climbed up on the roof till I now it's ok to do so. So I don't know what brand it is. Anyone know that so I can be looking for parts? Anyone know of a good source for these parts, i.e., case cover and condenser fan?

You should be able to get on the roof, stay away from the ends, they have a tendency to be a bit weak, especially the front. I use a small extension ladder placed against my rolled up awning for access.

As far as parts, good luck. You can purchase replacement covers. But for replacement parts, highly unlikely. Most RV a/c units are designed to be replaced, not repaired. They don't even have refrigerant ports on them anymore.

As Aaron stated, they are not very serviceable. You can get parts like circuit boards, capacitors, and shrouds but that's about it. I know a guy that added charge inputs.. not worth it to me. If they go 10.7 cop talk.. lol out of service... install a new one be done with it.
