Water Pump

Hello all, been a while since i've been on here and of course its because of an issue.
Camping world replaced bathroom faucet and outdoor "shower"-faucet and now the water pump is having troubles working properly, not making constant pressure and when you turn any faucet off the pump runs for at least 20-30 seconds.
At first it seemed they had the pump hooked up wrong, not sure now but they did put it in facing backwards. I'm kind of lost as far as the spiderweb of water lines and what goes where..........
I went to CW and bought a new pump with no different results.
Any help or pics (haha) would be awesome, of course RV shops this time of year are already booked for ever...
thanks Ya'll

Does it run at any time after it stops with nobody using water? If so that would indicate a pressure loss somewhere... What model RV do you have? It could be that the pump is pressurizing the system after the usage, lots of piping takes a bit longer. A pump with a low volume output will take longer too... Are the lines purged of air? Mine does that until I've purged both the hot and cold lines at each faucet. Just some thoughts..??..

Stevo...when the pump continues to run after all faucets are closed it can mean the pump is trying to fill the system and bring it up to the pressure setting where it shuts down. It can also mean you have a connection that is sucking air, check and tighten all of the connections you can see and reach, also could mean the line between the fresh water tank and the pump is kinked. There could be a basket strainer on the pump, shut the pump switch off and take that apart and clean it and try again. I don't think the pump is hooked up backwards or it wouldn't pump anything through the faucets at all.

Stevo,

Check to make sure that the water heater bypass valves are set in the right position as well. Had a similar problem once and one of the valves was closed, the pump prduced a dibble and would run long after the tap was closed.

One thought make sure all the air is out the lines, especially the ones that were just changed.
