refrigerator on propane

I've got 2 full 30 lb tanks on my trailer. How long to you think I could run the refrigerator solely on propane for, assuming I'm not using it for cooking or heating the hot water?

Don't know about just the fridge, but we get about a 1 1/2 to 2 weeks out of a 30# tank, fridge running continuously, making a pot of coffee in the morning and usually 2 burners for about 20 minutes in the evening making supper.

So I would think 2+ weeks for just the fridge on a 30# bottle.

Pretty easy to calculate...

Find out what the BTU input on the fridge burner is and divide that into the amount of propane in each 30# tank. Each tank contains 640,500 btu's.

Great info page here.

I usually run with the fridge on propane when we are driving only, as we are usually plugged in while we camp. A couple of summers ago, we were dry camping about 2 weekends a month, about 12 weekends total. At the end of the summer, we had more than half a bottle left. That was fridge and water heater, and heat for a couple hours one morning. I would guess that you could easily make 2 or 3 weeks.
