No propane for outside BBQ

2016 Dutchmen ASPEN TRAIL 1900RB

I am getting this trailer in a couple of days, and found out it does not have a propane hookup for my Weber grill. Since the underneath is pretty much sealed up is there a way to add a "T" and quick disconnect near the entry door. My grill has the regulator remove so can use any place after the tank regulator to hook up.

I would check to see if the dealer can add that for you at no cost before you sign the papers.

Oh & welcome to the site.

Tried that, they do not want to cut into any of the lines. Will probably do something once we get the trailer.

I wouldn't buy a camper from a dealer that was afraid to cut a gas line. That's going to be trouble when warranty work rears it's ugly head.

I agree, if a dealer doesn't want to perform a basic installation procedure you reall have to wonder how competent they really are. FWIW it is a simple as unscrewing a couple of lines between the connector blocks, and replacing the block with a T-block and adding a short connector with the valve and fitting. They don't use the hard piping on RV's anymore, everything is rubber hoses and fittings.

So I looked at the trailer. The propane metal pipe runs to the back for the water heater. So easy fix need to put a T at the end of pipe put in grill hose quick disconnect and a nipple for the water heater. Now searching for the parts.

You actually have a metal pipe? MIne are all rubber and run between connector blocks.

My Airstreams had copper LP piping, my older TT's and MoHo's had a hard black line that ran the length of the camper with tee fittings where it split off to go to the various appliances.

Yes 1/2 black pipe under the trailer. The rubber hose part connects to the end the black pipe and runs under the trailer for the water heater. Which is in perfect location for grill hook up
