No heat

I bought a voltage 35' toy hauler last March. everything worked fine .went camping in october and the furnace will not light. tries to light several times but won't stay lit. the air conditioner runs the same time that the furnace fan does. took it to a repair shop last month but it isn't ready yet . I was thinking it is the thermostat does anyone have an idea ,

Did you allow the lines an opportunity to get purged with propane before trying furnace? For example, after opening propane tank valve did you confirm gas flow by igniting a stove burner? This is usually necessary with my TT so my habit is to try and open the propane valve slowly and then confirm that a stove burner will light. I don't know exactly why this happens, but it is common.

Regarding the AC fan coming on with furnace, some digital thermostats will do this if the Fan setting is on Auto. It is to aid in air circulation and also some AC units double as a heating unit (heat pump add on).

no heat

I have gas at the stove and the ice box . I ran the ice box on gas on the way to the camp ground. I checked the board for flashing lights and there weren't any . the repair shop said the gas line was kinked but a friend of mine has the same problem with his furnace and they told him the lines were kinked . He has a suburban furnace and I have a atwood.

A kink in the line was going to be my next suggestion because we once had the same symptoms you describe and that was the cause. My furnace is installed beneath a small couch that is not mounted to floor. The couch slid a few inches out and so I pushed it back. But doing so pinched a bend in the the gas supply line between the couch and the wall and kinked it off. Kind of scary that this can happen so easily because I could see this damaging the gas line and causing a leak. So anyway, that night we had the furnace on but woke to a freezing cold interior. The thermostat was set on heat but the furnace was not even turning on. I think a safety feature kicked in since it wasn't able to ignite and shut down even though the thermostat was calling for heat. But like you described, there were no error lights or anything. When I cycled the thermostat off and back on, it started the furnace fan but it wasn't able to ignite just like you describe. During my troubleshooting I moved the couch back to look at the furnace and that's when I noted the pinched and kinked gas line. I fixed the kink and the furnace was able to run fine after that.

I had the same problem with the A/C fan (not the actual A/C) running when I turned on the heat. It turns out that on the thermostat, the fan setting needs to be on auto. If it's set to low or high, the A/C fan will run when the heat is on. You will also find that the fan will never shutoff when the A/C is on. Easy enough to fix. My wife is no longer allowed to touch the thermostat.
