What trailer do you have?

How many people are using it?

Which tank is filling up in one day?

That doesn't sound right. The shower and kitchen should be on separate tanks. Unless you were taking 15 or 20 minute showers the bathroom should be OK. The kitchen should not fill doing one set of dishes.

The gauges in these trailer are notoriously incorrect. I try to keep mine as clean as possible but it is a lot of work.

Did your water start backing up on you? If not, I's say the tank weren't full.

You only have 39 gallons of grey water capacity. Average American uses ~17 gallons of water for a shower. Along with another 8-10 gallons washing dishes. Sounds about right to me...

You have a couple of choices, use campgrounds with sewer hookups, take showers in a bath house to help conserve your tank capacity. Or learn how to take navy style showers and only use ~3 gallons or so per shower.

I would not have looked at it that way. We are talking about camping, right? I bet the wife and I use a maximum of 3 gallons each to shower and she is great doing the dishes. Bet she can do half a sink on 2 gallons.
