Help! Rookie mistake...

Hi all. We just bought a used Dutchman 1204 pop up. First time out And I think the water pressure was too high and blew a line or gasket. Pressure was high, we didn't use a regulator. After about two minutes my husband said water started spraying out from underneath and some water collected inside on a low spot in floor near water heater (although no evidence of leak directly under or around the heater itself). Any or direction appreciated!

You will need to hook back up to water and check all the fittings and fixtures for leaks. I don't live too far from you. Send me a PM and maybe I can give you a hand with the leak checks and repairs. Replied to your other post too. Where did you camp with that kind of high pressure? FWIW I always use a pressure regulator, but haven't seen really high pressure in any campground recently.

I just ordered a pressure regulator today from Amazon we were at Jordan lake state park. The water was gushing out like crazy definitely blasting from the hose. Hopefully my husband can figure this out but I might PM you if I can figure out how to do it on this site lol. Thanks so much!

Dang... the last two times I was at Jordan lake we barely had any water pressure at all. Usually camp in Poplar Point or Crosswinds.

It might not have been the water pressure, it just may have been a bad/loose water line to begin with... which may explain why the previous owner sold it. :/

I guess that we just might be used to things like this but when we hook up utilities, we slowly open the hose line and look for leakage from fittings that may have loosened during the trip. Of course, we started camping when I was playing paintball and the trips were always down some bumpy road somewhere in the middle of not near a thing.

That's a bummer. I'm sorry you found out about pressure regulators the hard way. Good luck with the repairs. Looks like you're getting lots of help here.
