General RV Repairs

Just wanted to hand out kudos to General RV in Huntley Illinois. Plumbing leak in the wall of my 2015 Voltage 3990. No appointment and dealership of course swamped deliveries and service orders two to three weeks out. Advised I was leaving on vacation in a few days. Okay'ed me to bring it it in the next day. Took me right in, found, and fixed my leak under warranty. The best part is that as I was pulling in the slide, water began streaming in from my A/C vent. While completely unrelated to my original issue, and in the 95 degree heat, Kurt, the shop foreman, along with a technician, Vince, (even the Service Manager went up to help diagnose) went up on the roof and worked on the A/C for almost 90 minutes, rerouting, caulking, unplugging the drain, vacuuming wood chips and re-taping duct work. A/C works like a champ. They really went out of their way for me. Highly recommended if you are in the area and need repairs and are not as handy as Cale, Pirate, Aaron, Donzinger, and the rest of you wizards who amaze me with your modifications and repairs. Respectfully,
Mechanically Challenged Rusty

Nice to know... but that would be a two day haul for me, just to get there Which is why I do my own work. And if I do it myself I KNOW it is done right. The really good dealers seem to be few and far between. We used to have two decent ones locally, one closed, the other got bought out by CW and became a profit first everything else third.

I second what lcv800 is saying... Voltage 3800 is our second camper from them. Jim Divita is my guy.
