When i connect to city water, water discharges from an outlet on the port side, outside of the RV. something stuck open? use RV seldom with city water disconnected most of time. this development just occurred this year when hooked up to city.

Check the position of your city water/fresh water tank valve. Could be filling your fresh water tank and you are seeing overflow.

Happened to me, I found that the screen/washer was backwards and it pushed in on the valve that opened it and I got water shooting out the overflow, not sure if this is the outlet you are talking about, but a quick fix, turn the washer around and that was it.
