Emptying holding tanks

I just purchased a coleman ctu297re camper. It has two waste pipes. The one pipe activates when you either pull the grey t handle or black t handle. The other says sewer system. What is the proper way to empty? My old camper only had a grey and black handle.

I'm going to take a guess and say that your camper has three waste tanks?

If the second waste pipe carries only black water.

Two suggestions from my experiences:

Get a Valterra "twist on valve" for the end of each waste pipe. That way no surprises when you remove the cap.

Get a Valterra "sewer solution" set up for draining the tanks. It has a water connection for a jet that shreds everything going down its hose. And you can turn the jet to blast up the drain pipe and rinse everything really well.

Has worked out just great for us!!!
