The only stupid question is the one that you don't ask.
The manuals are usually very generic and are designed to be used in nearly any design produced for that year, possibly for a few years. It isn't likely that the manual would help you in this case. The bigger question is which valve(s) is/are for your black tank(s) and which is/are for your gray tank(s). Recently, manufacturers have been using smaller diameter valves for the gray tanks as there are less solids in those tanks versus the black tank, even though all tanks exit through the same discharge pipe that you hook your hose to. Your trailer should have a master monitoring panel; generally they are marked for four systems: battery, potable water, black water and gray water. If you have two buttons for gray or black, the answer is right there. Our trailer has two gray tanks and two buttons for them but because they are plumbed together, the tank levels are usually identical on the panel display.
Sorry that I couldn't be a bit more helpful. Cheers!
