Camco 39062 Dual Flush Pro Holding Tank Rinser

I have a Dutchman 26BDSL and the Black tank sensors show 1/2 full we are seasonal and I know that the tank is not full. I am trying to clean with the Dual Flush rinse, but I do not know how long to run it. How do I know when the rinser has filled the tank? Any ides?

You're supposed to rinse with valve open according to manual, however I do fill my tank with the rinser (valve closed) and closely watch either the gauge, if they work, or by flushing the toilet and visually checking.

I run mine until it's clear. I fill it, drain it, fill it, drain it... etc. Problem is that you can get paper stuck in the valve when you close it making it seep when the valve is closed. have NO idea how to prevent that from happening. I guess just don't flush paper like they do in Europe .

Buy a clear 6" extension or elbow for your sewer hose. When it runs clear, you're good.

I do what Rusty does, while first dump, I run the rinse until all water is clear in the " Clear" elbow, Makes life easier. We then close it and I have the wife watch the tank and yell when it is half to 3/4 full the I pull the lever again. We do have a rinse wand but never have used it yet,, and we do the special cleaner recipe someone posted on here once or more times, because it is a question that comes up alot,, now onto buying that 12 foot step ladder so I can actually do something on the roof..

What also works is to drive to your destination with both tanks about 1/3 full with you tank chemical in. This worked for me when my sensors did not read correctly. I also use the wand a couple times a year to really clean it out.
