Antifreeze from city water connection

Hello All,

After 40 days straight in the coach my family of 7 are moving into our home. So with old man winter quickly approaching I decided I would winterize the coach. I by passed both and hooked a hose to the winterize connection and turned on the pump. As the wife started turning on connections antifreeze started coming out of the city water connection.

I was able to put my thumb in the hole tell all the faucets were complete but believe somethings not right.

Anyone have any suggestions?

BTW it's a 2016 Voltage 3605.

Thanks in advance!
Kevin

There is supposed to be a check valve in the city water fitting. Sounds like it got stuck in the open position. Mine is part of the assembly that mounts to the trailer. Some are a separate valve inline. Try rapping the fitting gently with a solid padded object, like a wrench wrapped in a rag. I have seen them get stuck open with all sorts of crud. The new ones are getting made cheaper and cheaper and I seen a couple that never did seal properly brand new.

Okay. It's only 2 months old. I will add it to the things to have the dealer look at when I take it in.
