2014 Aerolite 282DBHS water heater won't stay lit

Well so far since I bought the trailer new a month and a half ago just a couple of minor issues. We took it out the first time two weeks ago and everything was great. We are now out for our second trip and the water heater won't stay lit. It lights then goes off after 30 or so seconds. Then it tries again. After three cycles the DSI fault light comes in on the panel inside. If have tried half a dozen times and it just won't stay lit. It works fine on electric.

I have been reading online that it could be the control board. Any ideas?

Also found my awning leaks like a sieve at the seem that runs the length of the awning (camper side). Guess I need to get some seam sealer.

Our water would do this and I found it was because the heater was not completely filled with water. Went outside and opened the pressure relief valve until nothing but water came out with no air. Worked fine thereafter.

Well it decided to work. I didn't do anything. It stopped raining and after few hours it decided to work. Not to comforting considering that it was just rain...

I called Atwood and they said it sounded like a crack in the electrode. Apparently this part not only creates the spark to light the unit but tells the unit it is actually burning. They would not send me the part and told me to go to my dealer.

That's too much of a pain so I just bought one and swapped it out myself. Sure enough there is a crack on the very end (closest to the burner) where the ignitor protrudes from.

I am going to contact my dealer and see if they can get reimbursement...
