Voltage 3905-outside stereo remote-always being powered

On the outside near the TV, is a wall-mounted remote that adjusts volume, mode, source, etc. It appears to always be powered...a total unnecessary battery drain IMHO. Is there any way to cut the power to it as I don't use it often at all.

You can unplug it from back of Radio/DVD/MP3 in garage.

That remote probably isn't drawing a signficant amount of milliamps (mA), at idle. More than likely it draws close to microamps (uA), at idle. The instant on fucntion on your TVs draw more than that. The clock on the microwave probably draws more than the remote. The propane gas detector probably does as well.

On mine that wall mounted remote is wireless. No battery drain other than the CR2032 battery in it.

Hmm...hadn't thought it might be battery operated. I'll have to look. How do you access the battery? Once I get to the trailer, it may be obvious.

The remote either snaps apart or there is a screw that unlocks the battery door. It's not much different from the key fob that unlocks your vehicle.

In my 2013 3905 the outdoor speaker switch (by the stereo) kills the power to that remote, it is hardwired to the stereo.
