Very Basic Electrical, But May Help

Though it may not be totally complete, hopefully it may help with some of the mysteries with coach electrical system basics. The load management system isn't included nor the coach touch panel control system. This is intended to be very basic and maybe help with some of the "what is fed from where" questions.

Feel free to add to or correct anything, the PowerPoint file is attached (at least I tried to attach it). If anyone wants it to make changes I can email it to you...

Another morning with too much free time...

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, Unless of course the picture has a thousand words in it.

Here's some more detail, maybe it can help someone someday... Hopefully it's readable. (another slow morning)

In my 2016 3895 my battery disconnect is between the dc converter and the battery. Shouldnt it be between the battery and the trailer fuse panel? So when i switch it off the trailer light's stay on but the battery stops charging if plugged in..or gen is running.

Good question, that's why I didn't show the battery disconnect on the drawing. From what I've read on the site, some are different than others. My understanding is the battery disconnect is used to prevent battery discharge when not plugged into shore line over an extended time period. Nothing operates on ours with the battery disconnect off and no shore line connection, no lights, no nothing.

Thats what I think it should do as well. I can not come up with any situation where you would not want the battery to charge if plugged in to shore power. I mean if the battery is dead and you plug in to s.p. with the switch off you still wouldnt have any lights.
