We have an UltraFab power tongue jack on our 2014 Denali. It has worked fine up until recently when it failed. We checked and replaced the inline fuse, replaced the trailer battery, and it worked.....until we came back and tried it again. Dead. Could it be the switch? It is an HY29B. Jack works with a ratchet and socket...whew what a job in this heat. Hopefully not needing a replacement jack but am at a loss....

When you replaced the battery was it tested as bad?? Maybe its not getting charged by your trailer?? And now your new battery is low. I am assuming you checked that fuse again???
You replaced the fuse and battery and it worked.
If it was the fuse, it is too much current. It could be an intermittent short or more likely high current draw in the motor.
If it was the battery, it is a constant drain of the battery possibly due to a switch not shutting the motor off or something else.
More troubleshooting is required.
1 you need to know of the new battery is now dead.
2 you need to know if the new fuse is blown.
There are lots of ways to determine both of these with or without a multimeter.
My jack failed and it would work manually as well, then work, then stop. Mine had a bad motor. I knew it was going out because it made an extremely loud sound as it worked. Replaced it and it is now quiet and smooth operation.
When you lower the jack to raise the post, it will blow the fuse with less than 1 second of hitting bottom. Best way is to watch it, turn off switch at 1/8 inch, and let momentum take it home to cinch bottom.
