RV Remote question

We have the 213RBSL 2017 model. It has a remote to work the porch light, slide, stabilizers, & awning. We were able to manually turn on the porch light with the switch or turn it on with the remote. Somehow something changed and now the only way to turn it on is the remote. Not sure what we did. I also noticed a light icon on the remote where the passcode input is that I hadn’t noticed before. I don’t see a settings option on the remote to change it. Does anyone know how I can get it back to turn the porch light on by using either way?

Yep, this happens to a lot of folks. I think it has something to do with how these remotes are wired into the system, but if you use the remote, then the remote "owns" the circuit. There is something you can do that puts it back to default, but I can't recall it this second. I think you have to open your front outdoor cargo hatch on the porch side, and reach up and click something on the remote control receiver board. On my 213, that is where it is located. You will see the remote system antenna wire protruding from that board.

Someone with better recall will be along shortly and correct me, I'm sure.

Welcome to the forum. There is a nice little 213RBSL cult following here.
