Interesting. I recently replaced my camera and the truck was behind the TH. When I checked the camera everything worked without the truck being attached... Another Dutchman wiring mystery.

I don't know where you would get constant power at the back of a camper. Once you unplug your TV constant power is disconnected.

Only possible way would be to wire your cammera directly to the camper battery.

I was thinking of a backup camera, getting it's power from the reverse, those are like a security camera.

I wired up a backup camera on our camper so it is only powered in reverse.

There is a hot lead on the Happi-Jac bed lift. I know as I used it to power a rear Fantastic fan in the place of my crank vent.

I like your finished project....I will be doing this in the spring.

I like others also have constant power to the camera, love the inconsistency in the electrical system, amongst other things.
