Our little CTS 14FD came with no cable inlet! The powered antenna from Wineguard has two inputs, but only the one from the antenna is used. (the two outputs go, as expected, to the TV jack and to the radio antenna) But the cable inlet is open, i.e. not used
Why didn't they add 4' of wire and a wall - mount jack at the back side of the trailer? (The TV on this model is on the back wall)
Is there any reason I can't add that? I've noticed that Wineguard has changed their design. Is there something I should know before cutting into the outer skin?
Right now I'm bringing cable in from the campsite through the tool hatch, up along the wall, over the door, to the TV. Seems like a lot to go through when I've got a distribution point which SHOULD have a cable input. BTW, Dutchman told me, "no, that model didn't have a cable input." But not why.
