LED strip lights.

Got some of the strip LED lights for Christmas from my daughter. Installed a section under a cabinet that looks great. Only problem is the self stick backing doesn't last very long.
Question for those that have installed how did you keep it in place?
I've used liquid nails to hold the backsplash in the bathroom that has worked very well.

Do you think that would work for the lights also?
I noticed my factory awning LED light strip is pulling away in spots. So I need to do something about it also.

For my factory awning one that was pulling away, I used black RTV (Permatex). Stuff holds up to anything, can't see it up there and can be removed if you ever need to. I am sure there are other products/ideas out there, but I always have some of that laying around and it was laying there when I saw the light strip pulling away.

I ordered a roll of 3M double backed tape 3/8" X 50', for my outside led lights from amazon. Should also work on inside.
