Is Furrion French for furious?

Figures this junk would die right after my warranty expired. Won't turn on unless it wants to, pulled the fuse 20 times to get it to turn on. It's like the entire front panel is frozen.

Oh well, time to find an auto dvd unit that will fit in there.

If it make you feel better, my won't play a DVD or CD. And as yours did, it waited until the warrantee to JUST expired before it quit. I have looked on line, with no success, to find something similar, but with a Blu-ray player.

Let me know if you find something.

After being on the website, now I know why their products suck. You have to write in for warranty and technical support. I thoughtfully pecked out a 2 paragraph literary masterpiece on how my "entertainment system" is a hunk of garbage and hit send.

After a brief wait a message pops up telling me that there is a 500 character limit, and no, they don't provide a counter. I had to count the first line and take a stab at what needed to be deleted. Enraging!

Furion is a Chinese corruption of the English word that is considered improper in polite company. Starts with F... they just left the Y-O-U part off.

During our last trip, our Furrion DV1000 system started having trouble. The radio would automatically go into scan mode every 5 minutes or so. Additionally the DVD player suddenly stopped working.

I contacted Furrion since it is under the 1-year. They asked for information on the unit (Serial Number, Model, date of purchase, etc) and said they will ship me a replacement unit with a Return postage-paid. Will be pulling the unit this weekend so that I can get the SN#.

It's nice when a vendor will work with you!

To my surprise, we received the replacement on Saturday. I went out on Sunday with generator in tow. Connected the replacement DV1100 (sorry original post said it was a DV1000) and the radio worked without scanning every 5 minutes. Connected to the TV and put a DVD in the unit, and everything appears to be working again. I am sending the defective unit back to them, postage prepaid.

It's great when the vendor helps you out.

That's good, except you replaced crap with more crap. I tried contacting them several times and never received a reply.
