So if all of the lights are off and the furnace is off my battery should be good (even if hooked up) for a long time? It's a new trailer with a (supposedly) new battery as of last year. I thought maybe I installed it wrong, but it's on negative and there's not much more to it than that. I had Camping World look at the installation for me and they claim ti's good. :-/

If you have a battery disconnect switch and when it's off there should be nothing on in the rig. No lights anywhere. if there is then something is wrong.
I have two batteries and before I added the disconnect switch I could only go about two weeks before the low battery alarm would go off. Now that I have the switch I can go months.
