Battery disconnect

I am thinking of installing a battery disconnect on my TT. I figure a marine grade shut off switch mounted on the A-Frame near the battery, hook it up to the negative cable. Switch off - Opens the circuit. Switch off - closes the circuit, have power. This way I dont have to disconnect the battery when in storage.

Thoughts?

You going to have a Trickle charger on the batteries, when stored?

No. Storage is in a lot in the desert. No electricity

Go for it! I use the one that fits directly on the battery post. I had a trailer with an internal "disconnect" found out the hard way it only disconnected some of the power. Now adding the switch to the battery terminal if usually one of my first mods on a new trailer.
