Auxillary tank for Yahmah portable generatore=s

I have 2 Yamaha EF 2000 generators. I have searched high and low for auxiliary tank hookups for them. I know Hondas have a fuel pump and those are easy to get. If I am not successful finding one, I could use a battery fuel pump maybe if I knew what to get. Also, could use gravity if I build a platform for the tank.

I have the same setup. 2 Yamaha 2000i's.
I also have a Yamaha 2400i.

All of them are amazing. And I have abused the 2400i for a few years. (Bought Yamaha's extended warranty on all of them. So have 7 years affectively. Excellent deal)

The 2400 has a few youtube videos for adding a fuel pump. But I've never gotten around to it.

I haven't used the 2000i's in parallel mode long enough to discover their maximum runtime. Can I ask what your runtimes have been?

runtimes

I have never run them long enough to know. I am having an electrician wire up my home to run tv's, cable modems ect....I figure as long as I don't load them more than 1600 watts(2000 peak) it ought to work fine. I couldn't find anything about adding an electric pump on the generator itself. I wonder if I can install a small fuel pump in the rubber gas line? I also may have to buy gas caps to replace the Yamaha ones. (they aren't cheap). I'll see.

The fuel pump modifications I have seen are vacuum driven pumps.

I'll look for a link.

But all of these are pretty miserly and run many hours on the oem tank.

Vacuum pumps.I have a lot of experience with them for small sprayers. I bet that may be the ticket.
Thanks
