Brrrr! It is a balmy 51 (that's plus 51) degrees here in western North Carolina and expecting 60 tomorrow. Do not miss northern tier weather.

I think it's great to see how much difference there is across the board. I bet a few of our southern friends are still camping

Colin & Karen,

It's no -24 below 0 here in Maine. We were at 19 this morning & about 38 during the day with sun. These temps are fairly nice for December

We're getting closer to our Florida trip just after x-mas

We'll be thinking of everyone in the North when we're in the South

We're such wusses, we've been complaining about it getting into the 40's this week.

Have a trip planned for Jan 19th.

Snowmageddon has hit here!!! Been snowing since midnight. It's now 12 hours later and it's still snowing. Already close to 10 inches and supposed to get 5 - 6 more before it's all said and done tonight.
The snowblowers are getting a workout!!!

Hey Dave ...try one of these snow eating badgers that I found this summer in our local zoo.

Merry Xmas and glad I am not the only one using my snow blower.

Coops

PS I have a 10 HP single cylinder Tecumseh Sears 26 in. swath. 6 forward and 2 reverse and use everyone of the gears. Bought in 1990 and runs great. Thank god for electric start.

Those "snow eating badgers" here are probably hibernated already. They're not eating a thing!

I have some friends that probably built that engine you have. The plant was 30 minutes from here. I say 'was' because it shut down about 5 years ago. My Ariens is a 24" with an 8hp. Snow is wet and heavy, but not too bad. Just a lot of it!

What a pain.....Pls no comments from my Prince George neighbour their city clears out their drive way.

Nana and Poppy- 0 F is way colder than -7 C.
We hit -2C here on the coast overnight but it's about +4 now and sunny! All the ice is melting and it's quite pleasant out. We don't see much sun on the coast in winters....
