Auto club, well worth the money

I just got back from a trip that ended after being on the road for 1.5 hours. The starter on my tow vehicle quit at a pit stop about 180 km from home. It was pouring rain and we had the trailer hooked up. I called CAA, they got there with two trucks and got both my truck and the trailer hooked up and heading for home within 20 min. I've never had to use it since I got the trailer and am sure glad I had the RV coverage. It sure saved me a lot of money.

My work has always had a deal for AAA and I always passed on it. This year, I signed up for the family package with RV/Boat coverage. I hope to never need it, but the peace of mind is worth it.

I am so glad it worked out for you even though you missed the trip. It is not fun to break down, but it seems this made it easier for you.

Road Hazard, Auto Club, Extended Warranty, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Auto Insurance. Take it from a guy who used to sell insurance. We all HATE the premiums, but are thankful as heck if a claim is due! I have nothing to say but good things about Good Sam Roadside Assistance!

Our 1973 Dodge Brougham Class A broke down 20 miles from home. Towing the 25 ft, 12,000 lb rig was $240. AAA reimbursed me for the tow since they did not have the right truck available. That tow alone made the membership pay for itself.
