We have come to the end of our fourth year of ownership of our Voltage and she is in storage for the winter.

Received a what I believe is a good quote for extended warranty coverage from XtraRide.

Have seen comments here and there concerning them.

Please provide your feedback on their service, experiences (good and bad) with them. Are there things you were denied coverage on and why? Are there only specific places you can take it in for repair?

I've used them several times for my television, awning arm, sewer valves, and leveler. Never a problem. Only thing is repair has to be done by authorized dealer and pre-approved. 24 hour number available though, so no problem. Never denied a claim or met a repair facility that didn't like them (as opposed to Good Sam's) They even pay for on-site mobile work. I bought the $100 deductible when my 3990 turned one year old. 84 months, includes tire and wheel, plus consequential damage, which I believe when a covered part damages a non-covered part. $4754.00. Crestview RV out of Texas. Price may vary dealer to dealer. Curious on what they quoted you for coverage on a 4 year old RV if you don't mind. Highly recommended.

You may want to try Crestview RV. They are out of Texas and they gave me the best price on Extraride. Although Don does seem to have a pretty good price at $57 a month for a 3 year old unit, while mine was $59 for a one year old. Same policy other than I have wheel and tire coverage and consequential damage coverage. Just an FYI.

Got the Xtra Ride warranty last night.

Platinum plan with $100 deductible, enhanced service call coverage (additional $75) and consequential failure coverage (additional $150). $2875 total for a 5-year deal.

One thing I learned is that they do place a cap on what they will pay out over the life of the warranty. In my case it was set at $30,000

Didn't know about the cap. I'll have to check into that, not that I would expect 30 grand in damage for the 5 years I have left. Congrats on the purchase. I know I sleep easier.

Take a look at your contract - the block that shows your original purchase price is the cap. When I first saw this, I balked but after some explanation and examples I understood. They list them at low retail in order to get the lower package rates according the rep I spoke with.

Didn't see any cap price. Called Xtraride. Agent said my cap was the replacement price of my RV. Not sure if that is original purchase or used value, either way, I'm good for a lot of repairs! Thanks for the information.

Correct - on my contract, the Vehicle Purchase Price is listed in a block near the top on the right in the Vehicle Block.

I agree, this is a lot of repairs for the life of the package. I figure if it requires more than that, I am looking at an insurance claim at that point.
