What is this valve

I have a Voltage V3200 and was doing somthing under the RV and noticed a valve that was right over the axle. Does anyone know what this is for? I didn't take a pic which I should have. It the lever to pull and release. Nothing in the manuals about it.

Best to take a pic. Hate to pull the the lever and then " all hell breaks loose" ... so to speak.

Question? Is this a 3rd knife valve in addition to the grey and black water knife valve?

Yes it is in addition to the others. This would make 4. I have two grays and one black. I'm going to try and take a picture today. I was just surprised to see this.

hope you can get to work.....

you have to "go advanced" and then up top add attachments (paper clip icon) search for the photo and upload...it does take a few minutes to upload!

Are you getting any kind of error or just not uploading????

Probably the dump valve for your fresh water tank.

Gordon...good call.
I guess if it just dumps strait to the ground there is good chance it wouldn't be something that would need a dumping station.
My fresh water tank has (I think) a 1/2 or 3/8 plug which I changed out to a ball valve. I have never seen a knife valve set up like this before. Must be the make, model and size of of the fresh water tank. You Islanders are pretty smart just try to keep everything in focus and watch your depth of field.

PS are u glad The NHL is back?

Mine has a knife valve and dumps directly on the ground.
A good tip is when you need a bucket of water you can fill it from your water tank by using the dump valve. (dry camping only, of course)

that is your fresh water dump. I use it all the time to get stale water out and keep slime from growing the in the fresh water tank. the nice thing is its a real dump not a petcock that takes an hour or more to empty. Pull that handle and get out of the way fast if you don't want to get wet.
