Might have to give that a try. I've been using a Mequire's product (the pink stuff) and noticed it doesn't rinse off well, leaves streaks after it drys, and I'm not about to dry off all that acreage with a towel.

It may be your water? We have super soft water with almost no minerals in it here.
You can literally just hose off the black nose cap even when dirty and it wont spot or streak when dry.

Good point. We have well water, it doesn't really seem to be all that hard, but maybe hard enough. I may try a bit of my Calgon in the next bucket just to see.

I'm on a well. Can't even wash my own trucks unless I want to chamois them dry immediately.
They look worse AFTER I wash them than before.
Fortunately I have a local small town car wash that gives me unlimited washings for a monthly fee. And with my dirt\crushed concrete driveway into the woods, it's not a real profitable venture for him.
Can't wait for it to cool off and I build the "shed" over my Aerolite. I'm going to go all out on it.

We have a local guy that does a lot of detail work, he uses the Turtle Wax Ice stuff, he also has some sort of water treatment thing too. As a general rule no one runs water softeners around here, not really necessary.
snakebitten, I got the go ahead from the CFO to get my plans together for our new barn/RV storage/workshop. Going with a 40'x40' with 16' sidewalls. Depending on final review I might be able to squeeze out a 40'x48'

I do a LOT of waxing. Hardest thing to wax and takes the most time, is the Harley. Ice is great in that it leaves virtually no residue that you normally can get around handles, lettering, etc. You can even use it on rubber and Easy on and off. Only problem is it just doesn't last as long as liquid or paste.
