Traveling across country in the winter

I've just took a new job in Reno NV. I will be traveling from St. Louis to Reno at the end of the month with my TT.
My question is about using my fresh water system. I am going to assume I will hit some frigid temperatures traveling west on I-80.
Can I run the heater while on the road? I have a heated belly. But am concerned that if I dewinterize, the pipes could freeze.
I guess the only other options it to carry some water jugs for fresh water or to flush if needed.
What are your thoughts?

Let's for a moment, forget about the heated belly myth. A few members have discovered the heated belly is somewhat a fallacy the manufacturer suggests exists. There is some heat that reaches down there but apparently not enough to keep all areas completely safe.
Running the furnace while traveling most likely won't do anything but keep the inside of the RV warm. I'm sure any heat that gets into the belly will be sucked out as the cold air passes over it. As for as traveling with the furnace on, it may stay lit and then again it may not. Not to mention the furnace may never reach a set point in which case you'll be wasting propane and may possibly run out.
Your idea of carrying water is more prudent in my estimation. You'll be safer in so many ways without the furnace on and you will be guaranteed you'll have water to use and lessen the travel worries of cold weather.
