test

Just reflecting on how happy my wife and I are now that we've got a home on wheels. When life seems like a test of patience, ... well we've got the trailer eh?

Until life gets in the way... again!

I got home from our 4 day camp out, parked the trailer, plugged it up and had to leave to go stay with my parents to help out. They were involved in a car accident on the way to church on Sunday morning. Haven't been home yet! Fortunately my job is fairly flexible so I was able to help them out. Now I am trying to plan another trip, but so far no joy.

Yeah. I get it. Hope they're ok.

Life gets in the way a lot for us too but it's nice now to have our little "oasis" to look forward to when the dust settles.

Sorry to hear about your folks. I know they have many folks from their church praying for them.
Back when my Dad was being treated for cancer I was able to park their RV in the hospitals parking lot so my Mom could be close. That might be a option that could help you out.

Thanks guys... that should have read "I haven't been home since"

Mom and Dad are doing pretty good, all things considered. They are home and there isn't room at their house to get an RV down the driveway. They are both in their 80's. Me and my siblings are going to have a pow-wow Saturday about the whole situation.

Me... I just wanna go camping! and to add insult to injury my company has picked up even more work, meaning I will be keeping the roads hot all summer and probably well into the fall. I have 6 projects slated to start in the next 4 weeks in 4 different states.
