We all carry spares in our rigs for when that 'just in case' day comes.
We have spare fuses, plumbing connections, pumps and all sorts of back up stuff.
How many of us carry a spare waste ball? You know, it's that white thing in the toilet that opens when we smash the foot handle.
The reason I bring this up is because my waste ball broke this morning. Not after cleaning the machine of course, but instead leaving me with a bowlful of stuff and more water than necessary needing to be dipped out so I could see what the problem may be.
It appears as if the dog on the side of the ball broke. The dog engages with the waste ball driver that is operated by the foot handle.
For 20 bucks I ordered a kit that has the ball, some washers and two gaskets. Everything needed to replace the broken ball, complete with instructions.
Now I ask you, would this kit not be a good idea to have as a spare? Most of us can use the 1/2 bath or go outside but having the main thing out of service just plain stinks.
