Solar charging 2 batteries

I have 2 deep cycle batteries running parallel. Wondering how best to charge with a solar charger I have (cheap 100w suitcase model).

Do I just connect to the first battery and it will trickle charge both? Or do I need to manually switch the solar over to the other battery?

Probably a dumb question...but I can’t find the answer!

i would think that since they are connected together that they would charge equally (your charger in the RV does the same).

Connect your charger to positive of one battery and negative of the other to get equal charge on both

ScottTXp is correct. However, given the low current from the 100 watt panel, it probably won't make any practical difference.

Connect to either or one wire to each.
