WMac,

Yes...two weeks ago in Sedona, AZ...I was installing a magnetic door stop for the bathroom door. Drilled a 1/16" hole where I had marked...and went though the top and bottom of a hot water PEX and through the top of a cold water PEX!

Dang it...but where I could get to them easily via the Basement. Two 1/2" shark bite fittings and good to go! Can't believe the lines were that close to the bottom of the floor...yup learned the lesson again!!

Oh, back in 1973-1974 my first wife was working at the Hospital in Alamosa, Respiratory Therapist. I would go visit on weekends...so cold the interior of my 1968 Coronet and her 1973 Duster...all cracked. Seats, dash, steering wheel...jeez its cold there. And with the "singing sands"...don't care what you did...small line of sand on every window sill...every day!

Don't know where pizza amicas is, but in 25 years of biking...I've drunk more beers in the Old Victoria hotel bar than I can ever, ever remember! Lots of good memories there, and still lots of good friends!!

Liked to go up on the Marshall Pass road and camp with first Toyhauler, bumper pull, two years ago we moved up to the Voltage, the FS went out and closed places...now the only place we have been able to find long enough...is in Sargents...so we've complained to the FS...and take our money elsewhere.

Bill,
Tell you what...that has gotten to be some expensive property up in Salida.

They built a subdivision of a dozen homes on the NE corner of town, North of Hwy 50.

Prices started at $275,000 and that was more than 8 years ago!!! WHEW!!!
