Slide out sagging?

My slide out seems to have a sag of 1 to 2 inches when extended. I just purchased this new Kodiak 4 days ago and today had the time to set things up when I noticed this. Is this normal? We are new to RVing and this is our first travel trailer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The window looks level according to the pictures. At least they plumbed it before screwing it down.
Have you used a level and tape measure to see what the drop is on the inside? There would be a small amount of drop outside to keep water away from the seals but yours looks more than a little.

It would help with perspective if the pics weren't sideways.

I second, level your trailer then throw a level on the roof of the slide and see how far out it is if any. Tilting away from the trailer could be in the design if things are level on the inside.

Mine comes out perfectly level and that's one of the reasons I installed a slide topper...no drainage when it was raining.
Does it fit flush to the wall when opened and closed?

It's hard to tell just by a picture. Is the ground underneath perfectly level? There's no way it would slide out properly or at all if it was sagging 1or 2". Shouldn't be that hard to get the sidewall of the camper perfectly level then check the back wall of the slide. If the whole slide was sagging that much the window should show it, it doesn't.

You may just be dealing with an optical illusion... the fold out arm that carries the wiring slopes upward making it look like the back of the slide is low.

I predict first time owner panic, I wouldn't even sit in my slide out for the first couple of trips, I was convinced it would fall out of the camper.

Hard to tell?

Looking at the first picture I'm looking at the left side of the window in line with the wall of the camper. That looks good to me. If the slide is opening and closing well and flush then if there is any slope it must be minimal. Relax and go enjoy your new camper!!

you want it to tilt downward a little for water runoff... Are the gaskets tight against the outside wall (on the inside) and evenly against the wall?

no optical illusion

No optical illusion nor any first time owner panic here.....
The trailer is level. It comes with the automatic level system which is awesome. I checked it by laying the level on the floor & all is well. The photo is the level on top of dinette.
Sorry for my first post's sideways photos. I was using my ipad instead of the desktop & thought they were upright. Just was wondering if some cable tightening was needed while in warranty. I live in an old house with wood floors that have a sag or two, I guess I will feel right at home while on the road.

You can't trust that level on the dinette, no way to tell if the legs are 100% down in the pedestals and the platform they are bolted to probably isn't perfectly level. Set it up with the auto, then check the back wall of camper and compare that to the back wall of the slideout, I bet you'll find they're close. Enjoy your trip.

Make sure your slideouts are right. If you don't feel they are correct, get them checked. I have the same mechanism you have and it failed miserably and almost was not able to move the slide back in so I could travel. better be safe than sorry.
