ProGuard Rubber Roof coating

Hello all,

I have been mulling over how to best protect the lap sealant on the roof of my TT so I wouldn't have to inspect it every year and do possible repairs due to my inability to climb onto the roof. After deciding that the RV-Roof lifetime roofs were financially not doable I narrowed it down to Eternabond or the ProGuard roof coatings. My final decision was to go with the ProGuard SuperCoat for TPO roof coating as it was recommended to me. I called ProGuard today and they have pulled the SuperCoat product for RV applications due to problems. They said that their RubberRoof coating would work as long as I used the primer first. Their website says the RubberRoof product has "not yet been approved for TPO roofs." Has anyone used the RubberRoof product on a TPO roof? Please chime in with opinions even if you haven't used it on a TPO roof.

Thanks,
Dale

Can't help you with the coatings. I work as industrial roofer by trade and coatings are kind of a last resort in our business. I like the eternabond type products. They work and work well. My long range game plan is to use an eternabond product for now, then replace the OEM roof with something better down the road in 10 years or so.
