Newbie Looking for New Motorcoach

My 70 year old sister, after visiting us in our Voltage, has decided she wants to try RVing. Lives near Smokies, so she'll use it a lot during the summer, then winter in it down in Florida. Will tow her Honda CR-V behind. Pretty handy and independent, so she'll do fine. Looking for a 25' or so A or C. Thinking of Axis (despite being a Thor product). Anyone have a suggestion or thought on a unit? Money is not a huge issue, but still important. Told her I would pick this forum's brain. Thanks in advance.
Rusty

Going to be hard to find a Class "A" 25'. Not that many made unless you go with one on a Sprinter chassis. I would look used in the 26-30' range $75-100K price? Should find some nice diesels in that range.

Thanks Mike. Looking at that Axis 25.3, that is 26' which is Thor product. Thanks for the input.

Look for a Dynamax Isata on the 450 chassis. Very well built and come in several different configurations. They range from 25'-31'. Used would be the best option IMHO. Winnebago makes a Class A in that size range on a Mercedes chassis too.

The Winnebago is the Via or the Reyo if you get the Itasca version. I have seen a couple of them in person and was very impressed, they seem to hold their value relatively well too. They appear to be able to tow up to around 4,000# or a bit more. Another excellent coach in the B/C class is the Born Free, they make several units in the shorter lengths, again very well built and used is not a problem if you want to save some money.

Sister is putting a bid on a new 2015 Itasca 26 HE for $60 grand. It looks good to me. Is it a fair deal? They price out anywhere from 85 to 90 grand. Input on your thoughts would really put both her and my mind at ease either way. Thanks.

That's the one. She would be buying new after a thorough PDI.
