It's been out for awhile now. If the number doesn't come up it's because it's not on the recall. If it has a plastic handle it is most likely on the recall.

Yes I was aware it's been almost 6 months now, but we in western Canada just starting getting our notices in the mail from Dutchmen.

Mine came last month but I just wanted to give others a little heads up as to what to expect. I searched and searched for my mysterious number only to find I failed to grasp the metal/plastic handle factor.

That was one of the first things I got rid of.... The Kidde toy fire extinguisher. I use Amerex 2.5# or 5# fire extinguishers for replacements. I am responsible for the care and feeding of roughly 100 fire extinguishers at work so I bought something that I can service.

Please, replace those tiny fire extinguishers that come with the RV. We had a 2014 Road Warrior, and lost it to fire last summer. ( electrical issue ) It was parked in our driveway, plugged in as we were in the process of cleaning it after a trip. We spotted the smoke coming out of the kitchen vent, no flames at that point, called 911, fire dept here within 10 mins. My husband used the fire extinguisher that came with it, but it quickly ran out. In those short minutes, flames were shooting out of the roof. Both the fire chief and fire marshal said those tiny ones are just enough to get you in trouble.
We now have a Voltage, first thing I did was test the escape windows, then replaced and added more fire extinguishers. It was a scary thing to watch.

Our Trailer came with a First Alert extinguisher, so ours wasn't affected.
