It appears the fender itself is now dropping down, the sealant is no longer sealing the seam.

I hate to say it, but that is probably about average for the RV industry, if you are still under warranty you could try to get the part replaced, but I wouldn't bet on it. Best bet is to just go ahead and fix it. Move the screw over a bit and fill the old hole with sealant.

not a design engineer but that sure could have used two more screws,, I am sure the 5 cent savings went into someone else's pocket,,, alot of stress on that on the road.. I always find thing moved around inside,, but I am sure the outside parts do the road dance..

I would try under warranty for sure. Get it approved now and wait until you have more "work" to be done and consolidate.
Do like we did, if possible. Find a repair shop that does not sell RVs. We get much better customer service that way.

Yeah, it could use more screws. As mentioned both wheel wells are having the same problem so it is a design issue.

Saw a brand new trailer with transport tags on it today coming down I-81 with the fender skirt already waving in the wind.

I had the same problem with my 2018 Kodiak Ultralite. Some were cracked the day I picked up the trailer. Cracks got worse after snagging the plastic covers while removing the tire covers. Poor design and the material is to brittle. I removed all the screws and put small washers under the screw heads to allow for more support. I also reinforced the bottom of the skirts by putting a small black sheet metal screw through the shirt and the sheet metal behind it. The silicone seal along the top ridge of the skirt was worthless because the skirt dropped below the seal so I removed it. I could put some silicone caulking under the skirt to strengthen the seal. After a year of using the camper there have not been any more problems.

They probably got the screws to tight ,that’s what happened to mine and warranty replaced it

I'm wondering if the screws are simply catching the fiberglass material and not some interior structure like a frame. I could add additional screws to provide additional security of the fender, reseal the area around the fender and call it a day if there is no need to screw into something more substantial behind the fiberglass.

Agreed. And the time to either wait there for it to be fixed or the double trips to take it, leave it and return to bring it back.

So had a few other minor issues we wanted to get taken care of so took it in. They covered all of the issues including the fender moldings.
