How many years have you been RVing?

Wife & I bought our first rv a used tent trailer in 1985. Guess that makes it 30+ years. My folks bought their first one in 1960 so I've been rving for 55+ years. My wifes folks bought a truck camper in 1973 so she has been rving for 42+ years.

long time?

I first started camping around age 10. Technically it was an RV if you count a Cox tent trailer.

I bought my first RV around 1979, it was Pathfinder TT that I used at the lake, then hauled down to the deer camp, sold that to someone and got a truck camper for free, that got hauled down to the deer camp. I had a Viking popup around 1982-1984. Then tent camped until 2000. Have had a fair series of RV's since then, to include a Class A, Class C, and a 5'ver. Currently using a Coleman 16FBS TT, looking at an upgrade to a Lance TT in the next year or two. Hope that will be the last one for a while.

RV would be a tent trailer, Travel Trailer, 5th wheel Trailer, Toyhauler, Camper that slides into a pickup, Class A,B,C motorhome. I think I covered all the rigs.

Our first "RV" was a converted VW bus made into a camper in 1974. Since then we've tented, rented, and bought several TTs. Now retired, we have the time to enjoy it!

I started in 1998 with a slide-in camper and dodge one ton pickup. I still have it and actually prefer it to my big new voltage toy hauler. It has been darn near everywhere. The voltage can't see the country that old camper has seen.

We started with a 15 year old Allegro CLASS A MH 5 yrs ago. Decided we loved the RV experience but wanted something with slides. We found a Denali 330RLS in Jan of 2013 that had a great floor plan and have been happy since.
PS we paid 9k for the Allegro w/24,000 miles, I replaced the flooring, built new countertops, remodeled the bath, wall coverings and window shades and treatments, selling it for 12,500 (about $500 more than I put in it plus 42 nights on the road). It was a great introduction to RVing!

Technically, I've been RVing since I was a kid (born in 1955). My dad made his own conversion for a VW bus, and we did a lot of traveling in that thing. My husband and I bought our first used RV when my youngest son was 2. He will be 30 this year, we have had pull behinds and then graduated to the fifth wheel toy hauler. We have owned our Voltage a year now and love it! 2 of our 3 kids have trailers too!

Almost paid off means time to upgrade!! No one of my crew has ever had one paid off, they keep getting new ones about every 4 or five years...

Twice now in my RV time I've owned two at the same time. Had a 34' 2 slide Montana 5th wheel & than bought a 34" triple slide Teton. Took the Montana to Phoenix & my son lived in it while going to school. When he was done I sold it in Phoenix. Now on friday I'm taking the Teton to Phoenix for my daughter to live in. She's transferring from her job with Wells Fargo in Sioux Falls to Phoenix.

What I find interesting is the 25+ and the 2-5 are running neck and neck.

I started at 3 yrs old with my parents. They had an old 54 schoolbus Dad converted. Then graduated to an old used thunderbird TT. When I was about 8, He bought a Super Coach 30ft motorhome. Had it the rest of my growing up life. My DW and I bought our first new TT in 1999. Bought a Cougar 5er in 2005, and our 3305 last august. I'm 46 and plan on rving the rest of my life.
