HIDEY Spot

I was on another forum which was talking about a factory built in hiding spot on/in Keystone RV's. After it was posted several others piped in saying they found theirs that they never knew existed. Several never found theirs on some models. Of course the hiding spot was never revealed but it was mentioned it would be the backside of a closet wall or cabinet. Does anyone know if Dutchmen makes a hidey spot or puts in a hiding spot that is built in for safe keeping of goods.

Now I can see some will be cute and that's great to have the humor but I am serious in this question. It seems mine if there is so well concealed its hidden from me if I even have one.

I'm not sure of a hiding spot in my Komfort 3050, but a screwed a small safe to the floor of the slide under the queen sz bed for wallets/cash and such.

I have not spent enough time in our Rubicon to find any "hidey spots", but I do know there is a lot of wasted space in it!!!!

May end up putting something in one of those spots!

I made one under the bed, I installed a 12 volt magnetic door lock in the bed frame, and located the switch in a cabinet. Took out the pressboard and upgraded the material of the frame.

Everyone thinks it is a solid frame... Works great!

The magnetic lock I ordered from home depo, granger also has the for a few $$$$ more. I took the inside panels off and drilled a small hole in the studs. I hid the switch in the little end table at the top where it couldn't be seen. Then ran the wires down to the battery, with a inline fuse. They also have a magnetic lock with a separate piece of metal, that you hold up to the side. ( it will do away with the switch) all under $100.00

Hope this helps

This outlet safe isn't a bad idea - Wall Socket Safe: The Hidden Wall Outlet Safe | WayCoolGadgets.com

I don't always carry my credit cards, and that would be a good place to stash them.

Next time I camp with pearls, though, I will know what to do with them.

Not sure about u guys... but I never leave home without the "family jewels". As for the pearls...I only wear them when dumping the black water tank at a high class dumping station where they put the end of the non potable hose in a red solo cup...now that is classy.

I think we should set a new trend - formal wear camping.

It certainly looks like an easy way to hide something and very inexpensive. I don't bring the pearls, just diamonds.
