First Time Out

Okay everyone, going to be heading out for a couple of nights for the first time with our new Kodiak 201QB. Would like feedback from you experienced trailer people about things that should be specifically attended to on a maiden voyage.

Also, what are the necessity items (specifically concerning the set up and securing of the trailer) that I should be sure to have?

By now i assume you made your maiden voyage.
Hopefully it all went smoothly.
My only advice would be to make sure everything operates as it should. Most things are covered in the PDI, but we have seen things work on the sales lot, but once in the real world, not so much.
Necessities are going to vary from individual to individual, what might be a requirement for me may not be to you, but some main items, wheel chocks or x-chocks, fresh water hose, sewer hose, leveling blocks, just to name a few.
Keep a list of things as you camp, what needs to be repaired or attended to, things you forgot, things that would make life easier, this way you will remember them for the next trip.
Most off all have FUN!!

How long have you owned it? How do you like it so far? Any issues? The only thing we've found is the remote for the radio doesn't appear to work. And yes, we put a new battery in it.

We purchased it new from LaMesa RV in Arizona in October 2016. We have very much been enjoying it. We flipped the axles, added larger rims and off road tires with a second battery, as we camp off road mostly. Have had some minor issues but not big problems. Overly quality is pretty cheap, but it is in most of them.
