Do you cover your RV in the winter ?

I have a 2012 Voltage 5th wheel and just bought a Calmark cover and was wondering how many people actually cover their RV's in the winter or when not in use for an extended period.
If so what do you use to put over the sharp corners before covering ? I read an article about one person that used pool noodles and attached them with painters tape.
Thanks for any help.
SR

I have a car port now, but did use a cover for winter storage on my last camper. Chopped up pool noodles do work well on sharp corners and edges.

Thanks. I will eventually have a carport but for now I will have to deal with the cover.
Thanks again

same, pool noodles, but I have very high winds, so I only had one for a couple year, going to try again, with a wall on the windy side to slow the wind down?????

My ADCO cover had built in air vents up by the roof that prevented a lot of wind flapping. Worked well for protecting the cover from ripping.

What happens when it snows? Does the cover tear? When we get more than 18" to 2' of snow, I typically use a snow rake to clear the RV roof. I'd be concerned about ripping a cover, if the snow didn't already shred it.

I'd love to cover my Voltage but there aren't any covers long enough. Out here it is sun protection.

azdryheat, There are a few companies that make a Cover for our RV's
RV Covers Direct out to 43'6"
Coverquest out to 44'
RVCovers out to 45'

I have a Designer RV Cover that I picked up from Camping World for my old Toy Hauler that I haven't used, and want to sell it for $400, new was $640 for a 40' 5th Wheel....
Just look up those Companies and pick one out, Good Luck

I tried to squeeze a 37-40' cover on my 41.5' Voltage with no luck. Camping World carries nothing longer except for Class A's.

I've checked with those companies you mention but they had none of the over-40' covers in stock but say they should have them soon. I think the lengths are new and not in stock yet. I've checked for the longer covers for the 2 years I've had my Voltage and they just recently have the over 40' covers on their websites.
